Qetaifan Island North Project Phase 1 – Package 3 shall consist of the construction of the Aquatar Waterpark. The Waterpark is designed to be world class and is to cater for local regional considerations in terms of privacy, shading and female attendance, including several dry rides for extended family.
There are 38 attractions including dry rides, water slides and fountains. The rides are to provide the full range of entertainment from children’s play structures to the most thrilling of experiences.
An important feature of the park is the Icon Tower, which sits on its own man-made island 300m offshore and which is 85m in height. The island is accessed via a train and comprises of changing facilities, F&B outlets, retail and cabanas. The Tower on the island features body, raft and tube rides which offer a variety of experiences.
