The Urban Linear Park of Qetaifan Island North will be one of the focal points of the development, providing a large green corridor spanning from north to south of the island. It will cater mainly for passive and active recreation, a destination point for residents and visitors and a place for various entertainment and landscape activities. The design of the Urban Linear Park will focus on promoting non-motorized circulation, supporting healthy living and promoting physical activity. A main feature of the Park will be the Water Canal, which meanders through the linear space and provides opportunities for water activities. The Water Canal is surrounded by green mounds and lush green planting, various activity and attraction pads and a connected canal promenade pathway that will allow the pedestrians to have a unique and diverse walking experience.
