In response to the large interest in the Green Building Design & Sustainable Construction that emerged in Qatar recently, and in line with Qatar National Vision 2030, a new Joint Venture between Arabian Green Buildings Co. & Qatar Green Leaders has been established.

he Joint Venture aims at providing a State-of-the-art Green Building Certification Facilitation, Design Management & Project Management for projects seeking certification under LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) and/or GSAS/QSAS (Global/Qatar Sustainability Assessment System) rating systems. Capitalizing on the vast experience of the two companies & equipped with a long track record in the Green Building field, the Joint Venture will have the capacity & the know-how to handle & manage the certification process for projects of any type, of any size and at any phase.

Electric vehicles (EVs) are becoming increasingly popular, as people and cities all over the world have started recognizing their advantages and introducing initiatives to promote the use of the plug-in transport option. Although EVs are still largely considered to be somewhat “cars of the future,” there’s a rising global movement committed to making existing electric cars a reality of today. In a major recent study, the International Energy Agency (IEA) analyzed this trend and found that only 16 cities and regions in the world account for a staggering one-third of all the EVs in use today.
